Running Accomplishments:

once upon a time i finished 2 marathons...very slowly.  if i can count high school then i made it to state twice for the 4x4.  that's about it.  my biggest accomplishments have to be cheering my husband on and making sure he doesn't have a melt-down before a race.

Short-Term Running Goals:

my goal this year is to do 2 triathlons, the ice-breaker sprint triathlon in march and the st.george triathlon in may (i think that's when it is).

Long-Term Running Goals:

be active for the rest of my life

Personal:

i am married to the hottest runner in the world...logan fielding :O) i will graduate from usu in may and hope to have kids some day.

well this was an eventful workout to say the least! i did not have swim class today so I decided to run in the field house at usu. i planned to run 3 miles but noticed it was really hard for me and by the time i reached 1.5 miles I could hardly breath. so i stopped and walked for a while. as i was walking i noticed my vision was getting blurry and my eyes were itching like crazy. then they started to swell up to the point where i just had two slits for eyes. i finally decided to stop and take a look at myself in the mirror. i looked like i have huge blisters all over my eyelids. then the scary part....my throat started to close up. i called my dad to come pick me up and take me to the hospital. as soon as i left the building my breathing got better. the emergency room put me on all sorts of allergy medicine and i slept for about 3 hours...it was great! they have no clue what it could have been that triggered the reaction so they just let me go when the swelling went down. my eye is still swollen a bit but i'm feeling much better. so i ran for 1.5 miles and slept for 3 hours. i think they cancels each other out. I told the doctor that i much just be allergic to running...he didn't think it was very funny. i laughed. we'll see if i can run tomorrow! it all was pretty funny to me...i should have taken pictures! oh well. i hope you all had a good laugh too. c/ya later!

Whoa! I'm glad you took it so well, but that's a pretty scary entry! James kept hearing me say "oh no!" and "ah"! Glad you are okay. So I guess you'll be off to see an allergist, eh? Hope they can get everything figured out pronto. Don't want you to have to go through all that again!
